Caring for your candle and candle safety
Before lighting please read the safety sticker on the base of each candle.
On the first lighting, keep your candle lit until the melted wax covers the full surface of the container (~3 hours for S/M; up to 5 hours for L/XL). This will prevent a dripped effect known as tunnelling.
You may not always achieve a full melt pool on the first burn, but by avoiding short burn times thereafter your candle will burn down well over long periods of time. Try to trim the wick to 5mm before relighting - candles burn slower and correctly if the wick is trimmed.
Always keep the wax pool clean - do not leave pieces of trimmed wick matches or charred wick in the candle.
Always avoid burning candles in the path of vents, fans or drafts.
Let the candle cool completely before relighting, this allows the wax to set and the container to cool down completely.
Never put lit candles on glass shelves.
Burn candles within sight; keep away from flammable objects and keep out of reach from children and pets.
